Tudor Glass

Curved & Convex Glass

Olde world sheet

Modern 'float' glass is perfect.
An endless ribbon of molten glass travels from the lehr, floating on a bath of melted tin, providing a perfectly flat surface as it travels.

We take this perfect glass, and make it look like old sheet drawn glass, with subtle ripples seen when the light catches its reflection, or even heavily distorted like older 'cylinder' glass.

Our Olde world sheet glass is perfect for use in period homes for glass breakage replacement, original or reproduction glass in bookcases and other such furntiure, or for replacements or new glazing for picture framing of antique / old style prints.

Olde world sheet can also be silvered to make mirrors that work with antique or old style frames, especially when antiqued silvering is used, replicating spoiled, aged mirror features.
